Rosa Lee Young Childhood Center, a Community Place
The Executive Director of our school is Jeannine Rey. She has served as a teacher, Education Coordinator and was appointed
Executive Director in 2004.
In the 45 years that we have served the community, we strive to make this a school that values its teachers. We have a very low teacher-turnover rate, meaning that your children receive continuity of care.
25 community members support the President of our Board, Lisa Mack. The Board holds events throughout the year to raise money for tuition assistance and to ensure the Center continues to be one of the leading child care and educational programs on Long Island.
The Center is welcoming to the community as Boy and Girl Scouts often come to work on various projects. Middle and high school students fulfill community service hours and use time at the center as a means to explore a future career in education. Local college students observe and intern at our Center each year. Relationships have been built, as people of all ages have come together to care for our most precious resources – the youngest children in our community.
Rosa Lee Young Childhood Center is a fun and educational learning program for toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergartners.
